Description
The IFF 1410A transponder system has been designed for operation with a stand-alone control unit, or from a centralised controller through MIL-STD-1553B bus. The transponder is equipped on HAL Tejas, Su-30mki as well as other aircraft of the IAF. The Transponder helps the aircraft identify the friendly aircraft in its operating area and prevents friendly fire incidents.
