BRUSSELS: Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili has proposed that negotiations with major powers should take place in Istanbul on November 23 or December 5, a European diplomatic source said Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, who spearheads negotiation on behalf of Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States, said earlier Tuesday a letter had been received containing a proposal for the resumption of talks on Iran's nuclear programme.
