NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday refused to comment on the controversy over the age of Army chief V K Singh.
"It is a sensitive issue. I do not want to comment," he said on the sidelines of a function to launch the book 'The Tribune 13 Years: A Witness to History.
The Army chief has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court seeking direction to the government that his date of birth on military records be treated as May 10, 1951 and not 1950.
